Here's How To Keep The Computer Cool

When the computer is turned on, almost all items become hot. Continued exposure to high temperatures can cause serious damage to your computer.

Here's a list of ways to keep your computer in good condition.

Check if your fans are working.

This is the first step if it turns out that the computer is overheating. Open the bag and check that all the fans are still working. If at least one of them stops working, you can consider repairing or replacing it.

Regularly clean the computer.

It is important to clean your computer regularly, especially fans. The fans installed on the computer are used to actively cool the computer. Over time, dust and dirt can accumulate in these fans. Accumulated dirt can slow down or, in the worst case, prevent the fans from working. If the fans do not blow hot air quickly enough, some internal components may overheat.

How to clean the fan:

1. Turn off the computer.

2. Open the computer bag.

3. Remove the fan from the computer if there is too much dirt in the computer casing.

4. When cleaning the fan, you can use compressed air, a small electronic vacuum cleaner or a vacuum cleaner or a damp cloth.

5. If you are using a damp cloth, make sure that the fan is dry or free of moisture before reconnecting.

Also clean other parts of the computer, such as the monitor, mouse and keyboard.

Before cleaning any piece of hardware, make sure that the device is turned off. Otherwise, the computer is exposed to electrostatic discharge, which can damage parts and also tend to merge with the ground.

Before cleaning the equipment, refer to the manufacturer's instructions to check that you have received the recommended cleaning or care instructions.

Do not spray or flush the liquid directly on the part of the computer.

Do not limit the air flow around the computer.

Place the computer in a room where sufficient air can flow. Make sure it is not directly next to other objects that prevent air from circulating, such as walls or other computers. There must be at least two or three inches on both sides. Since most of the hot air comes out of the air outlet at the back of the computer bag, this section should be completely clean and open.

Move your computer to a cooler, cleaner environment.

Move your computer to a well-ventilated place. It is important that the physical mode does not add additional heat to the computer. Make sure your computer is not near a stove, refrigerator, appliances or other devices that can blow hot air or transfer heat to your computer.

To avoid overheating your computer, place it in an air-conditioned room.

Note Be careful when moving the computer to avoid damaging sensitive components such as processor, graphics card, hard drive, and motherboard.

Use your computer with the box closed.

It seems logical to leave the case open while the computer is running to keep it cooler. That's right But dust and dust accumulate and seal computer fans faster when the case is open. This can slow down the fans or prevent cooling of your computer.

Update the processor's fan.

The processor is the most important component of the computer. When you run demanding applications, the processor and graphics card generates more heat. It can be so hot that it can be boiled.

Consider purchasing a high quality processor fan of higher quality that can keep the CPU temperature lower than that of the computer's unintegrated processor fan.

Consider installing a specific fan for the component.

If you find that the other components are overheated, install a certain component fan to cool it.

Remember to install a box cover.

This small fan can be connected to the front or back of the computer. There are two types of fans: one can vent colder air inside the box and the other can blow hot air out of the box. Installing both is an excellent way to keep your computer fresh.

Turn off the computer when not in use.

A computer continues to produce heat while it is working, even when not in use. If you only have a few minutes of inactivity, put at least your computer to sleep. Basically, the computer also turns off, but the open files and programs are stored on your hard drive.

Also disconnect external devices that are no longer used, such as B. printer and scanner.

Overheating can destroy and shorten the quality of life on the computer components. The main advantage of keeping your computer fresh is that it can save you expensive repairs or unnecessary updates.
